Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Ironwood Cedar Inspection Services Group provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Tampa. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
