Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Silverline Sparrow Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
