Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Lumen Orchard Telecom Group is a telecommunications provider in Birmingham focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Birmingham. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
