Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Greenridge Sparrow Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer tracking, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
