Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Harborlight Mill Freight is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
