Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Lumen Juniper Foods produces packaged foods at its Madison plant, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
