Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Harborlight Vista Markets serves neighbourhoods around New Orleans with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for online orders. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with online orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
