Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Solutions and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Weather sets the schedule, and we plan around it. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for packing house output. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with packing house output. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
