Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Fernwood Field Markets is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for pricing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in San Diego. • We reply to every applicant.
