Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Northwind Rowan Inspection Services is an inspection company in Louisville with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Louisville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
