Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Fernwood Beacon Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for tooling, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for tooling. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with tooling. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
