Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (remote)

Westbrook Lantern Auto Group is a San Diego company supplying vehicle parts and service, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Customers come back because we explain what they need and what they do not. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
