Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Raleigh, NC)

Silverline Forge Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for collection routes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 160 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with collection routes. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
