Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Raleigh, NC)

Fernwood North Auto Group serves drivers and dealerships across the Raleigh region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 23 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with supplier deliveries. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
