Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Raleigh, NC)

Nova Summit Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Raleigh region, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Raleigh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
