Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Providence, RI)

Greenridge Kestrel Markets serves neighbourhoods around Providence with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for pricing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with pricing. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
