Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Portland, OR)

Redstone Sparrow Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Portland, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 25 people based in Portland. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service installations. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with service installations. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Portland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
