Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Portland, OR)

Greenridge Cross Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 141 people based in Portland. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
