Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Portland, OR)

Stonegate Forge Inspection Services is an inspection company in Portland with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Portland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
