Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Pittsburgh, PA)

Rivermark Sparrow Environmental Services Group collects and processes waste and recycling around Pittsburgh, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Early starts and steady work; we look after our drivers. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for collection routes. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
