Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Pittsburgh, PA)

Harborlight Amber Construction builds commercial and industrial projects around Pittsburgh. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 195 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for permits. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with permits. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
