Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Pittsburgh, PA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Quill Foods Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for cold storage. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Pittsburgh, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
