Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Pittsburgh, PA)

Redstone Juniper Inspection Services Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for certifications. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with certifications. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Pittsburgh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
