Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Phoenix, AZ)

Redstone Birch Farms Group grows and distributes produce from farms near Phoenix. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 990 people based in Phoenix. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for seasonal crews. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with seasonal crews. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Phoenix. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
