Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Philadelphia, PA)

Highbridge Drift Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Philadelphia, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. On-time is the promise and we work hard to keep it. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for dock schedules. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
