Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Omaha, NE)

Rivermark Wren Freight is a Omaha logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Omaha. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for customer tracking. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with customer tracking. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
