Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Omaha, NE)

Fernwood Lakeside Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Omaha, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for field visits. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field visits. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
