Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Oakland, CA)

Amberfield Keystone Environmental Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for service complaints, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for service complaints. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with service complaints. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
