Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (New Orleans, LA)

We are growing our team at Ironwood Orchard Farms and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 320 people based in New Orleans. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for field records. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with field records. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
