Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (New Orleans, LA)

Northwind Mill Telecom provides broadband and phone service around New Orleans. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We keep people connected and take outages personally. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for network equipment. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with network equipment. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans. • We reply to every applicant.
