Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (New Orleans, LA)

Silverline Quarry Telecom is a telecommunications provider in New Orleans focused on reliable home and business connections, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for outage reports. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in New Orleans, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
