Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Nashville, TN)

We are growing our team at Northwind Thistle Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 921 people based in Nashville. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for promotions. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with promotions. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Nashville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
