Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Minneapolis, MN)

We are growing our team at Bright Field Markets and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for supplier deliveries. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with supplier deliveries. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Minneapolis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
