Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Minneapolis, MN)

Rivermark Ivory Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Minneapolis, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for carrier rates. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with carrier rates. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
