Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Milwaukee, WI)

We are growing our team at Silverline Oak Foods Group and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 31 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for production batches. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Experience with production batches. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Milwaukee, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
