Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Milwaukee, WI)

Summit Wren Inspection Services is an inspection company in Milwaukee with field technicians and lab staff. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Milwaukee. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for field inspections. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with field inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Milwaukee. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
