Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Memphis, TN)

Amberfield North Auto Group is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer estimates, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 328 people based in Memphis. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer estimates. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer estimates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Memphis, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
