Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Madison, WI)

Harborlight Meridian Inspection Services is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for equipment calibration, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for equipment calibration. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with equipment calibration. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Madison. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
