Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Madison, WI)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Juniper Inspection Services and adding a Logistics Coordinator whose main responsibility will be dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 52 people based in Madison. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for client sites. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with client sites. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Madison, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
