Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Madison, WI)

Fernwood Rowan Foods is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for allergen controls, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for allergen controls. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
