Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Madison, WI)

Bluepeak Summit Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Madison region. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. We build things that last and we are honest about schedules. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for project schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with project schedules. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Madison. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
