Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Louisville, KY)

Harborlight Oak Environmental Services collects and processes waste and recycling around Louisville, and we need a Logistics Coordinator to lead our dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 205 people based in Louisville. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for weigh tickets. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with weigh tickets.
