Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Little Rock, AR)

Highbridge Meridian Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Little Rock. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a large organisation of about 847 people based in Little Rock. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for client sites. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Experience with client sites. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Little Rock, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
