Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Las Vegas, NV)

Northwind Meridian Foods Associates is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for customer specifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Report on on-time performance for customer specifications. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with customer specifications.
