Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Knoxville, TN)

Greenridge Stone Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for seasonal crews, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for seasonal crews. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with seasonal crews. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Knoxville. • We reply to every applicant.
