Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Knoxville, TN)

Cedar Clear Foods is a Knoxville food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Report on on-time performance for sanitation schedules. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. What we are looking for • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
