Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Pine Manufacturing is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for machine downtime, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Report on on-time performance for machine downtime. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with machine downtime.
