Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jacksonville, FL)

Ironwood Glen Telecom provides broadband and phone service around Jacksonville. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. You would join a small organisation of about 30 people based in Jacksonville. What you will do • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Report on on-time performance for network equipment. What we are looking for • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Strong phone and email manner. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with network equipment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jacksonville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
