Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jacksonville, FL)

Highbridge Junction Manufacturing makes precision components in Jacksonville. We are hiring a Logistics Coordinator to take on dispatch and scheduling. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for work orders. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • Knowledge of freight terms. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Jacksonville. • We reply to every applicant.
