Logistics Coordinator - dispatch and scheduling (Jacksonville, FL)

Fernwood Quill Farms is looking for a Logistics Coordinator. The job centres on dispatch and scheduling for harvest schedules, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Track shipments and resolve delays and damage claims. • Report on on-time performance for harvest schedules. • Coordinate with drivers, carriers and warehouse staff. • Schedule pickups and deliveries and keep customers informed of timing. • Prepare documents such as bills of lading and proofs of delivery. What we are looking for • Strong phone and email manner. • One or more years in logistics, dispatch or transportation. • Comfort with a transport-management system or spreadsheets. Nice to have • Knowledge of freight terms. • Experience with harvest schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jacksonville. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
